Racism is Alive!

Maybe I'm naive, but I was shocked to see the level of racism I saw while on vacation in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. I am a Spanish major and went to Little Havana for the cultural experience. People were looking at me as if I were Fidel himself. At a gas station, a white guy next to me just started calling black people "n******". Give me a break! Be strong, break the status quo, and see people for their personalities, not their skin hues!! Over here, on the West Coast, we've managed to progress beyond this ignorance.
