Not a fan. - 9/18/2017
Well, I just found out my credit card account # was stolen. Where? You guessed it! INGLEWOOD! Thieves went to Chili's for a $100 meal, then tried a go at Cold Stone Ice Cream, at which point the card didn't go through. Geez. They should have ordered dessert at the restaurant. Nice weather, but.... - 10/22/2014
After surviving here 2 years, I'm out. Call me a "food snob" if you will, but I buy only healthy foods, I must shop Manhattan Beach, El Segundo, or Westchester. The markets in Inglewood carry a poor selection of good food, and the service is not great. The drug stores do not carry many items found in the drug store of other L.A. cities. The population, here, is very poorly educated; yet, they get the jobs. I've not been able to figure out that one. I was recently cussed out because I left my neighbor a polite note asking her to clean up after her dog. There are some nights when you can hear gunshots in the distance and hear the police helicopter flying around. Some weekends people have loud parties until 3am. Someone tagged up our carport a few months ago. I don't feel like I'm in danger but I get the impression that there are a lot of people that don't have respect for the neighborhood. For my family, it's been a good starter neighborhood until we can afford something better. On the plus side, it's very centrally located. I had to go downtown everyday and it would usually take about 25 Read More
