Property Taxes - 11/24/2010
We moved to Georgia from Texas, and even though we love Texas, what we really like about Georgia is that the property taxes are half of what we were paying before. The purchase cost of the homes in both states were very similar so the low property taxes are just icing on the cake. [read more...] |

Great Quality of Life - 4/24/2008
Moved here four years ago from the DC rat race and have never regretted it! Housing is great, beautiful weather, friendly people and great school-South Forsyth High School's average SAT scores were well above majority of DC area schools (funny considering this is one of the misrepresentations you here about both Virginia and Georgia schools). No wonder the people down here look better-they have a much better quality of life than in DC.[read more...] |
