Review of Medford, Oregon

We just closed our libraries in April 07.
Star Rating - 5/9/2007
It sounds pretty dire to say that all the libraries in Jackson County Oregon have been closed, but it is true. We are voting on it next week, and if it passes it will mean an extra 66 cents per thousand in property taxes. For us it will cost $150 dollars per year more. I don't know how it even got to this point, but we'll see how it goes. Its hard to see how Medford got to #34 in light of this.

Did the libraries in Jackson County ever reopen and are they open now? When we drove through a couple weeks ago we saw a beautiful library in downtown Medford, I believe.
