if you think dc is breathtaking, then youve never been out west have you. it is pretty but nothing compared to seattle, portland, san francisco, or other outdoor places in the west. dc is cool because of all the history, its ok if you like crowded places, high taxes, expensive living, high crime, horrible traffic, very liberal elitest people who think they are special because they work in dc. also, the 5 dollar toll on a bridge north of baltimore is cool too. i like the charm of dc but all the other stuff makes it hard to live here.
