Having been born and raised in Western NY, i had the chance to stay in Lynchburg a few yrs ago. Didn`t stay very long, but i did get a good feel for the area, and what it has to offer.Coming from the state of TAXES,Lynchburg has alot to offer to the middle class resident.Housing is reasonable, taxes are afforadable, and the education thats available is very good.One must also consider that there is a top notch university, in Liberty University in its own back yard. Although there is a very strong religious presence in the area,it beats many other areas in the country as far as living a christian life. Did anyone know that if your child attends the high school on Liberty campus, that their 4 yr college expenses are covered if they want to attend Liberty !!!!.Not a bad area after all, is it ??.Sounds like a great place to live and bring up a family to me.
