Relocating from Miami

We have been thinking of getting out of Miami due to the high cost of living and traffic. Jacksonville is one of the areas we are looking at. How does it compare? I can't imagine that it is much hotter or humid than in South Florida. How does the traffic compare? What about the cost of living? Schools?
