Better than the Arkansas Side, But Still Hiding So

Texarkana, Texas is the main powerhouse of the wider Texarkana-Tex/Ark Metro Area (if you can call it that). This is a good small city which has all the amenities for a comfortable life. However, it is not all what it seems from directly off the interstate where most of the newer/more frequented businesses are. The reality is that while a powerful minority of the community is rich, white, and educated, most people still live in relative squalor. However, you probably won't see that side just driving through. If you're looking for a home, consider the neighborhood first! Otherwise, you might be getting randomly robbed or even worse. Best parts: Anything north of I-30, Spring Lake Park neighborhood. Worst (from my experience): State Line Avenue, Downtown, New Boston Road.
