Good for a visit but not to live if educated

I moved here four years ago so I have had an opportunity to really assess what is going on. I am moving. This is a nice place to visit not live if you are an educated professional and especially if you are a woman. Women are supposed to be baking pie and seeving their husbands. Still. There are way too many old people. I had high expectations with the lovely Performing Arts Center. But the theater productions are mostly very amateur. The live National Theater broadcasts are wonderful. There are many very nice people here just not much intellectual stimulation which I guess means you need to stick closee to the big cities. The downtown is very ugly. The town decided all the trees should be removed because it cost too much to cRe for them. That should give you a clue. Much mismanagement. Discussion of the state taking over the port which it should do so it doesn’t keep losing money. A few good restaurants and allot of touristy cheaper fare. Beach is the best on the coast and if you survive on that alone, wonderful. The Airbnb and vacation rentals have destroyed the housing market.
