3/9/2008Mary, I think most people on this message board got your point. You've been posting bad things about Raleigh for few years. So you're either lying and don't live in raleigh anymore, or you haven't left. which is stupid, if you hate this much why haven't you left yet. Jason posting is good and well balanced. but a little racist remark, obviously he doesn't like hispanics, but hides by saying illegals. the city did not welcome illegals with open arms. the builders/developers brought them here for cheap labor to build the thousand of houses going up all over raleigh to accomodate the transplant moving here in droves from all over the country, especially NY, NJ, PA CA MA etc they hear that this area is in the top 5 best places to live in the country and they come. this area is not for everyone, so is any other place in the world. it's just a city with people from all over the place. and nothing southern the way anyone on this board refers to. these are dillusional people who watched and learned what southern is from Hollywood made up movies. hey folks wake up. the yankee go home stuff barely exists. raleigh is more than 80% northerners.
