| 4/29/2012 | parent | When we moved into the area 4 yrs ago, we as parents were told that our three children were very far behind. The school put our chilren into their ASAP program and today our three children are now testing above average and bringing home good grades. This could not have been accomplished with the dedicated teachers and support staff. Coal City Schools are the BEST. |
| 8/22/2004 | parent | I would like to know how the schools can serve our children nachos & cheese for lunch and think this is nutritional. What happen to pizza, hamburger/cheeseburgers,tacos,breakfast items? I just don't see the nutritional value for these kids in the lunch menus that we receive. |
| 5/19/2004 | parent | The School System that still buries its head in the mud over kid's that bully other kids! The Administation has and was approched many times over a 1 year period about this issue. The answer was for my son to walk away from these kids and watch his immediate space. This does not work and especially leads to poor self-esteem. The School sends out letters about self-esteem but does not back up this issue at the school. The Principal just keeps telling my son to just walk away and keep your distance and after many of these issues were brought to his attention. The school still does nothing to protect these individuals and therefore the school becomes a place that is not safe! |
