1/22/2009parentWe looked at a variety of schools in the area, both public and charter, prior to deciding where our children's elementary experience should take place and we chose Great Lakes. Great Lakes' staff is unbelievable. They are caring, supportive, involved and accessable. I've never felt more welcome as a parent at a school. The school community provides a diverse educational experience for our kids. I volunteer weekly and am on the PTO and really enjoy the kids. Great Lakes' Principal is true advocate for our school and has the ambition and heart to make it one of the best in the area.

We strive everyday to meet the individual needs of the children and to create instruction that provides success for all students. There are many exciting things happening as our school begins the process of becoming an IB school. I wouldn't teach anywhere else and my children will also be attending Great Lakes in the near future!
