5/12/2009studentMCHS is a great school. You really do go from a girl to a woman. Now that im in college I think back all the time on my days in Cabrini. I miss them! they were great! Teachers were friendly and very helpful. The staff was not cold they were there to help with anything. I remember almost losing a few good friends due to tuition prices and the school found a way to keep them in whether through scholarships or just finding them sponsors. Once you become family here nothing can change that. It really does become a second home. You ave classes and breaks where you get to hang out in the caf, the student lounge, or the closed off outside areas. These breaks are also awesome for the library were you can get hw done early or do it right before class! the library is gorgeous.
2/2/2009parentThe school is okay, but is this the right school for my daughter considering she wants to play college basketball? I am still wondering about this, but she likes the school and has many freinds there....so they must be doing something right.
1/18/2009studentI'm currently a junior in mother Cabrini high school. I love it here during my past three years Ive grown up a lot. It is definitely my second home! You should see my locker!! A lot of memories have been created here. MIND CHARACTER HEART AND SOUL are values that have been instilled in me through the staff here! Theirs always so much to do and so much of my time is spent in school helping my friends or helping a teacher we really are a community and we are really sisters. Now the reality is that every school is going to have cliques not every high school is harmonious, but here at Cabrini we do try to get along and work together! As a up and coming senior of 2010 i hope to graduate with everything mother Cabrini high school has taught me.
8/7/2008studentI am a rising senior at Mother Cabrini High School. I can honestly say these past three years at Cabrini have been great. Cabrini has so much to offer; from its diverse curriculum to the opportunity to participate in over 30 extra-curricular activities. Personally, I have found a second home. My most memorable experiences include volleyball playoff games, Olympic day, the Liturgies, and the Women s in History assembly. On top of this I have found a group of close friends. The high school experience is even better when one has friends to share the memories with. Throughout my time at Cabrini, I have come to grow in mind, character, heart, and soul.
3/17/2008studentI am currently a Senior at Mother Cabrini High School and i can definatly say i am happy with the choice i made to attend this private institution. I have not only grown mentally but also spiritually intouch with myself.
3/14/2008studentThe school is filthy, there needs to be more disciplinary rules enforced and the curriculum needs improvement.
7/13/2007otherMy teachers were absolutely wonderful. However, if my classmates weren't so 'cliquey' and concerned with putting each other down, rather than lifting each other up, I would've enjoyed my years there.
6/19/2007studentI graduated from Mother Cabrini High School four years ago and I have to say that I have the fondest memories of the school. the teachers and faculty are great and caring and help you in every possible way to prepare you for college. There are various extracurricular activites ranging from community service to peer tutors, to sports, the arts and drum corps in which I was member for the four years I was there..Overall the goal of the school is to prepare young ladies into mature and educated young women of knowledge, and for me this is exactly what they accomplished.
6/19/2007parentMother Cabrini is a great school. The purpose is to enrich the soul and mind of young ladies. As a parent I fully believe that the faculty and staff of Mother Cabrini does accomplish this. From the beginning you can see the changes of each students as they develop from a young girl to a woman. The school gives a sense of entitlement, responsibility and maturity to each of the girls. In the end I know that I made the right choice in selecting this school for my daughter.
12/20/2006studentI think Mother Cabrini High School is a great school. In this school you develop leadership qualities, become more outgoing, they prepare you for college life, and many other things. 100% of the girls graduate and 100% percent also get accepted to many colleges around the country such as Syracuse Uni. Cornell Uni. Binghamton, Manhattan College, Columbia Uni. and much much more. This school has over 30 extra curicular activities and everything is ran by the students.
10/16/2006studentThis school is great, I go to it and I decided to come to this school and I feel it is the best decision I gave made in my life so far. The teachers really care about the students and they work hard so that the students do as best as they possibly can. This school has sport, and art supporting courses like, art class, art history class, choir, volleyball, basketball, and softball. In general I believe this school is really great and I hope to graduate when I am a senior, with really good grades. any student who has the opportunity to come to this school should take it, and parents should know that if you send [your] child to Mother Cabrini, it would be a great investment.
10/14/2006studentI'm a Senior at Mother Cabrini High School and I have to say that Cabrini has been the best of all the private schools I've seen. Cabrini has small classes which makes students feel comfortable and the faculty staff gets to know you. At Cabrini there are improvements in the library; it feels more like home. The teachers at Cabrini want to see you succeed so they will take time out of their schedule and see a time that's best for you to understand what's needed for you to pass successfully.
9/29/2006studentMother Cabrini High School was nominated as a blue ribbbon school twice. Our drum core ever fails to win any awards and trophies. The teachers will stay after school anytime a student doesn't understand something or just needs help in homework. We are a very safe school and all the faculty and students here are one big family. CAbrini has a wide range of clubs to join to fit any students interests. There are many parent meetings throughout the year to get the parents involved with their child. Overall, we are a a great school where 100% of our students get accepted into college.
9/25/2006studentI love going to Mother Cabrini, coming from a public junior high school, I thought the transformation would be difficult. But it wasn't there where classes such as study skills which helped improve my test taking skills and the teachers where all nice.
9/22/2006studentI'm a student at this Mother Cabrini and I will recomend it to everyone. This my third year and it's been great the teachers are awesome, the environment is absolutley beautiful. The students are disciplined and very nice you allow yourself to work to the best of your abilities.
9/20/2006studentCabrini is a great school that encourages students to perform to the best of their ability and become successful women of the future.
5/30/2006parentThis is a wonderful school. It's very calm and quiet. Parents shouldn't have to worry of any danger. This is a wonderful school.
7/19/2005studentMother Cabrini high school is a caring and calm environment. Class sizes are small and teachers know students by name. Extra help is always available to students. At Cabrini a girl gets the chance to evolve through both academics and extracurricular activities. A parent can look forward to a clean and safe environment at Cabrini High.
5/30/2004studentI have also attended Cabrini H.S. I enjoyed my time there and will cherish it always! Cabrini allows enough structure so that no girl is lost but encourages indiviuality. For most Cabrini is what you make it. And for many that was all the incentive we needed. All of the girls that will graduate with me this year, are on that stage because they decided they wanted to learn. Cabrini is a great school, that continues to remain strong for young women of the future. Funding is low (tuition is too cheap) there should be improvements made on the computer lab and the library. However the value of a Cabrini education is priceless to any young woman that decides to attend or has graduated from Mother Cabrini.
5/17/2004former studentI am not a parent but a 2002 graduate. Cabrini is a wonderful school and unlike any other. My class, which consisted of 92 girls, graduated and all entered colleges of high standards with financial aid ranging from partial scholarships and grants to full scholarships and enough aide to cover all four years with surplusses. Cabrini teachers have won awards and the school itself has earned two Blue Ribbon Awards. They have one of the state's leading Drum Corps; winning more first place awards than any other band. The school patron, St. Francis Xavier Cabrini, founder and saint, is a role model that influences every young woman that enters Cabrini High's doors. A dedicated, persevering woman that never gave up and did her best to help everyone within her reach. Going to Cabrini was one of the best things I could have done and I thank my techers for everything.
8/26/2003otherThis is a school with a mission and a purpose. A school that educates not only the minds but also the hearts of our youth.
8/26/2003parentMy daughter is at MCHS. I m very pleased with the performance of the school. They have challenging classes and very capable teachers. The principal is all the time willing to help and encourage the students to give the best of them. My girl was coming from a public school and in the first year of HS was having some problems in the English class, this year she is going to 11th grade and is going to be in all honor classes.
8/19/2003former studentNot a parent, but a graduate who is very proud of her alma mater. As a youth volunteer in an elementary school, I recommend it to many parents of eigth grade girls. This school empowered me to become the person I am today. I am well respected and have a lot of self respect and self discipline.
8/19/2003former studentCabrini High School is not what it should be. The best thing it has to offer to its student is their drumcorps. A normal class size consist of 25 students per teacher.
