6/13/2012parentExcellent school! The teachers actually care about students. The PTA is very involved. They raised funds for the 6th grade to go to camp which lessened the burden on families. The principal is very involved.
5/2/2011parentSupportive, caring environment that is inclusive for all children to succeed. Positive teachers, great staff. Big thanks to all of them.
1/11/2010parentMy 2 kids attendedthis school for 2 years and they love it. We are however relocating to DC for my husbands job. Ms. Fletcher, with your style, Shane is more motivated to do his homework. Mr. Listoe, thanks for listening to our concerns. Ms. Chamberlain, you're really an 'ace' teacher. Ms. Leegard, Lausanne never wanted to miss her class. You are a 'dear teacher' to her. Ms. Works, thanks for working with Lausanne and making her recess really fun. To Hidden Creek, a job well done!
9/16/2009otherI love the school because two of my grandchildren attend. The school has a marvelous computers on wheels program
3/26/2008parentSo we are almost at the end of 3rd grade now (coming here at the end of 2nd grade) and this year was much better. This teacher (Ms. Lindberg, can I say that?) is absolutely wonderful! Very on top of things and very demanding in all aspects. She knows what these children are capable of and excepts no less which I think is how all teachers should be. She also makes sure that ALL kids use MANNERS which is something that parents don't seem to teach their children these days. My child is extremely happy with her teacher this year, I hope for a great 4th grade teacher!!
3/26/2008parentMy daughters first year at Hidden Creek Elementary has been a wonderful learning experience and know time given to bullying and harrasment, frankly that is a breath of fresh air. Her grade point average went from struggeling at her old school to honor role at Hidden Creek. I knew that my daughter was smart and Hidden Creek helped me prove that to her. Thank you to the best 6th grade teacher ever. I definitly recomend this school.
6/17/2007parentWe've been very impressed with this school. My daughter gets up every morning and is eager to get to school (not the case in her last school). The teachers are very nurturing, yet they still push them academically. I would recommend this school to anyone.
2/24/2007parentI am not impressed with this school. They only focus on the lowest kid in the class. They wonder why so many children are causing problems and becoming bored in class. Teachers want to be the students friends and not do their job. They send too much work home instead of teaching in the class! I am not impressed at all!
2/16/2007parentI think the only good thing about this school was my sons third grade teacher everything else is just horrible they were just horrible to my family and I will never refer anyone to go to that school ever.
1/2/2007parentHidden Creek Elementary is a great school! The curriculum is delivered using both traditional and new teaching techniques and expanded by incorporating technology, creativity and caring into the daily structure. All the staff seems to work as a cooperative team focused on the children and their quality of education. The PTA is also very active and very involved with volunteer programs, fund raising activities and the sponsoring of family interactive events. From: an grateful parent_
7/16/2005parentGreat school!!! Would highly recommend it. It has made many positive changes.
6/6/2005parentI have had three children go to this school. My oldest from Kindergarten through six grade. The staff is wonderful, excellent teachers, the music teacher she is wonderful. My kids and I have really enjoyed this school.
4/11/2005parent2nd worst school in Port Orchard!
1/14/2005parentBoth of my kids have attended Hidden Creek and I know it's a wonderful school. The teachers really care about the kids and their grades and the PTA works hard to raise money for extras and does a great job of planning, organizing and operating the Family Fun nights. The amount of parent involvement is wonderful.
8/7/2004parentBoth of my daughter's have gone through Hidden Creek Elementary School. The teacher's and Administrator's were top notch, and always seemed to care about bringing each child to their full learning ability. Each child is given an opportunity to learn and grow in a Positive way!
6/4/2004parentThe staff at Hidden Creek are not focused on the children. If you want a school where your 'busy' boy can grow, take him to EPO or Mullenix Ridge instead. The higher test scores at those schools back up my position.
5/26/2004parentI think that this school has a wonderful caring staff that truly wants the best for your child. They care and want to make sure your child is a sucess in elementary life. I have had nothing but great things with this school!
