The area is headquarters to a surprising list of Mid-sized corporations, including Briggs & Stratton, Harley-Davidson, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell Automation and Johnson Controls, which operate plants in the vicinity, and service players like Manpower, Inc., Northwestern Mutual and retailer Kohl’s.
