Sekiu, WA is a small fishing village located in the northeast corner of Clallam County on the Olympic Peninsula. The climate in Sekiu is predominantly temperate with mild, wet winters and warm, dry summers. Average temperatures range from lows of around 35°F in the winter months to highs of around 70°F in the summer months. Precipitation ranges from 8 to 10 inches annually with most falling between November and March. Snowfall is rare but can occur at higher elevations near Sekiu during the winter months. Despite its coastal location, strong winds and fog are less common than further up the peninsula due to being partially sheltered by nearby mountains.
