Sekiu, Washington is a small fishing village located on the Strait of Juan de Fuca in Clallam County. It is home to several religious congregations, including the First Congregational Church of Sekiu which was established in 1895 and is the oldest church in town. The church features a breathtaking view of the strait and majestic mountains in the backdrop. In addition, there is also St. Peter’s Catholic Church which serves citizens within Sekiu as well as neighboring communities. The congregation has been around for over fifty years and offers services such as Masses, Bible studies, and other activities that foster spiritual growth. Additionally, there is the United Methodist Church which provides Sunday school classes, youth group meetings, and plenty of fellowship opportunities for those who want to grow closer to God's word. With these churches offering such warm hospitality and strong Christian values; it is easy to see why they have become such an integral part of Sekiu’s culture.
