Upscale, quiet community - 11/21/2006
We've lived here for two years now. We were very worried about living in town, as we used to live way out in the country. Bonita was a good choice for us because it's so quiet that we don't hear our neighbors, plus we can board our horses just a mile from the house. With horse riding trails weaving in and out of neighborhoods Bonita is every thing it's name means. Beautiful and quiet yet just minutes from down town San Diego, the Mixcan boarder, beaches and the mountains. The sunshines 263 days out of the year and you don't need to own a heavy coat. The homes here are up scale and for the most part $800K and above. Lots are large and so are the homes. There is very little new construction in Bonita because there is almost no land to build on.
