Rancho Murieta, CA is a community located in the heart of Sacramento County. With its easy access to nearby cities and amenities, this area has become a desirable place to call home. Residents also enjoy access to two shopping centers, as well as nearby wineries and breweries.

Weather is moderate. There are hiking and biking trails, tennis, non-motor boating, fishing, pickle ball, bocce ball, family sports clubs, two lovely golf courses (membership extra) and lakeside Summer Concerts. Rattlesnake season is June & July. Keep your dogs on leash. Photographers love the scenery and wildlife on the North side.

VOTING: While Sacramento County is largely Democratic. Rancho Murieta is mostly Republican.

MEDICAL: As of Sept. 2022, most medical providers are 15-20 miles away in Elk Grove, Rancho Cordova, Folsom, Sacramento, Roseville (30 miles) and El Dorado Hills.

GROCERY: Local market is BelAir. A beautiful and pricey food chain. Most people drive 15 miles to Costco in Folsom or Rancho Cordova.

SIGHTS: Amador County and Sutter Creek are home to wonderful shops and wineries.
