A breath of fresh air - 11/6/2017
What can I say, I love everything about Redondo Beach. I’m also proud that I was born here. It’s just coincidence that my boyfriend and I both lived there as children, yet didn’t meet till we had moved away as adults. We love going back frequently for visits. There is always something wonderful to do. The smell of the ocean greats us before we get a glimps of the sea. We are always so excited to pack the truck and go. A typical home in Redondo Beach in the mid 1980's cost around $ 110 to $ 150 - by the early 1990's this has doubled and since that quadrupled and in some cases even quintupled. Although I am the longest continuous living resident (25 years in the same house) on the block I live, I am surrounded by strangers. Lots of people have moved in, a lot of foreigners - Pakistanis, Indians, Chinese, Turks, Russians etc. whereas the once Read More
