It is medicine for the soul. - 1/26/2023
I have lived here 52 years. There is no place in the world I would rather be. You are surrounded by the Trinity Alps, beautiful rivers, cool clear lakes, waterfalls, swimming holes. You can go fishing, hiking, mountain bike riding, skiing, horseback riding. At night you can gather round the campfire and make smores, watch the stars, relax, laugh and enjoy each other with none of the noise or stress of the city. You feel peace and serenity. Small Town - 5/5/2015
This is a very small town. The people that live here are not very friendly. They don't like new people moving to town and will do anything to destroy you. If your married keep a tight grip on your spouse. The Weaverville whores will do anything to tear your family apart. Bullying is bad in the schools and in the County jobs. The adults here are very jealous and don't like to see anyone succeed in anything here. They will do anything to destroy anything positive. It's the worst place I have ever lived and I'm trying everything I can to get out of here. I've lived here for over seven years. Worst seven years of my life. Read More

Worst place to live ever! - 5/1/2015
Weaverville is a very small town up in the mountains between Redding and Eureka. There are a lot of drugs that run through this town and a lot of crime. Very little law enforcement. The people that live here are mean, horrible bullies. They don't take kindly to outsiders at all. If you manage to survive living here they will do anything to destroy your life. To many people have moved up here only to have one the local whores move in on them and destroy their family.

So in other words if your considering moving here, don't trust me. Your life will never be the same once you get here. I'm not kidding! The adults are horrible bullies and their horrible offspring are even worse. The schools are riddled with bullies up here.

Run as fast as you can.  Read More

air quality - 10/14/2009
I have lived in Weaverville for nearly two years. In the winter, people throughout the town burn their trash as there is no trash pick up. Often times they burn things that are toxic, right in their yard. In addition, many people use wood burning stoves which pollute the air further. In the summertime, there are forest fires in the neighboring communities, in Oregon, or in the town itself. The smoke fills the air and lingers for weeks to months. Last summer it was raining ash so heavily due to numerous fires that you needed to wear a mask whenever you stepped outdoors. This lasted all summer. I would not recommend living in Weaverville if air quality is important to Read More

Trinity County Weather - 1/25/2008
There is a saying here in Trinity County, "If you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes." There are distinct seasons, clear, hot summers and cold winters. Spring and Fall are particularly beautiful times of the Read More
