2017 Wildomar review - 1/29/2017
Wildomar, like other places in Southern California, is growing and becoming more "suburbanized." Once a sleepy rural Inland Empire town, it is, especially the areas along Clinton Keith southward, part of the Temecula Valley conglomerate of Temecula, Murrieta, and Winchester. It's population is now about 35,000. Housing prices are reasonable (for CA) compared to Murrieta and Temecula, but are on the upswing. The weather is pleasant most months of the year, but can get very hot (over 100 deg) for about 3-4 months in the summer. It is not Palm Springs or Phoenix hot, however. It still cools down overnight. Nice Balance - 3/30/2010
If you like your weather warm but not desert sizzling this might be a good choice. Wildomar has hotter summers than the ocean affected LA area but cooler than the desert areas to the east. Planting Zones are Sunset 18 /19 or USG 10 making for a relatively moderate climate on the warm side.

Coupled with affordability and access to LA and San Diego it makes for a good compromise. Read More

Better place to vacation than live! - 5/11/2006
It's a nice place to live as far as weather goes and things to do and see, however, it is very expensive and beginning to make it hard to live within your means, having to cut back on many things that should be a normal way of life. Traffic is just impossible and people in too much of a hurry and becoming more rude all the time. : Read More

Loosing Wildomar's rural-ness - 4/21/2006
This used to be orchards and ranches, but more and more housing tracts are moving in now as the cost of living goes through the roof. We are looking to move to CO, NM or AZ, but I will miss my ocean only 45 min. Read More
