Overall opinion of Castle Rock, CO - 7/22/2007
I've lived in Colorado for 15 years, and in Castle Rock for over 5 years. The quality of living is good, a tad expensive, but overall good. We live in an area called Founders Village, and all of our neighbors are very friendly, and shopping is very close to us. Castle Rock keeps growing more and more by the day, but we need more restaurants and things to do.
I would definitely say the worst thing about Castle Rock is the weather. Summer is great! Typically it's warm and dry, although the weather is always kind of a guess. The winter is the worst. It can snow anywhere from 1/2 an inch to 15 inches in one day. The roads are awful. And the weather people just can't figure out how much we should expect.
