Delaware is not the best for home prices - 7/2/2018
Delaware touts LOW TAXES. While this is true, Delaware is WAY overpriced for home values. I live in NJ which has outrageous property taxes. However, my 2550 sq. ft. home sells for $275,000 in a very nice location of south jersey. In DE, that same home is $550,000, and even costlier closer to the beach. DE lists bi-levels built in the 1970's for $300K. Those same homes in NJ are $150K. What you save in taxes in DE kills you on home prices. So what's the difference? You still pay the same monthly
