Big city crowds jammed into small town - 7/10/2020
Small town with big city crowds. This area is is choked with people and it’s just growing. But no infrastructure to go with it. We have long lines EVERYWHERE we go. Huge Puerto Rican population came here after hurricane Maria wiped it out. Schools are overcrowded. There’s nothing to do here unless u drive to Orlando 30 mins away and it’s even worse. I get why everyone wants to move here but it’s sad to see all the beautiful untouched wetlands and cypress forests destroyed. Kiss it all Read More

Seniors Center Members Not Friendly or Welcome New - 6/5/2012
I agree wholeheartedly with the opinion of the topic posted above mine. I used to live here over twenty years ago. I lived here for a few years and then left and did not come back until now. It has not changed a bit unless you go to the same church the majority go to,

I visited their Senior Center one time to look around, I was very thirsty and noticed they had a bottle of soda and cookies out to take . I took a glass and filled it halfway. Then a woman standing there saw me and told me quite emphatically it was for members only. I continued drinking and then asked if she were a member and she said no, she is only visiting, Friendly huh? I poured another glass and picked up a cookie, gave her a look, and walked away.

Not a friendly place even for seniors who do not pay to become a member of the senior center.

If you do not like to see big white crosses on the - 6/15/2011
St Cloud Florida is a lovely place to view but not a place to live in if your beliefs are not Catholic. They seem to sniff around and find those they think is anything but what they believe in and shun you no matter how nice they seem to be It is not a place to live and be happy unless your beliefs are the same as theirs.

This is not a place to bring up children as well unless you want them to learn to turn up their noses on those who are of a different race as yours or if your beliefs are different as well,

St Cloud is still a part of history and has not grown. No upscale restaurants. movie houses or entertainment as Read More
