Lilburn is one of the best kept secrets in the Atl - 4/25/2016
Lilburn is a great place to live. There are several public parks in Lilburn with varied activities available at each park. Lilburn is great for young families, entrepreneurs, as well as retirees. The neighborhoods are friendly, the local restaurants are remarkable and the schools are excellent. Lilburn is close to the activities of Atlanta, but not so close that crime and traffic are bad. Lilburn is a quiet, small town, minutes from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta.  Read More

great place to live! - 4/12/2010
Lilburn,Ga is a great place to live for those with a family to care for. There are many resturants in and around the area where you can meet up with friends or just have a Sunday lunch at.(Blue Rooster in Old Town Lilburn by Lilburn Park..had GREAT sanwiches!!!) There are 4 close malls to go to and Discover Mills is not that far either. The schools are great!(like the ones in the Parkview cluster...but NOT Lilburn elementary and middle)Im going to be honest. some areas of lilburn are not as nice as others(i'm not going to use "getto" because people just dont know how to properly use it and when they do use it they just make it another too commonly used word...). But lilburn city officials are working hard to make ALL OF IT a great place to live, work, visit, or just hang out Read More

Safe place to live - 5/19/2008
Lilburn is a quiet, safe place to live except traffic and businesses are too far apart. I wish I could walk to the library, bank, store etc. within 5 minutes instead of 15 minutes. Otherwise it is a plesant place to live. It would be nice as a multi-cultural Read More

I live in Lilburn. - 2/26/2008
Neighbors are friendly, clerks are as nice as anywhere, people drive fast which is not a problem unless you like slow. There is traffic, so you need to get up early to beat it if you work in the city.
Public transportation into the city (Atlanta) is problematic since the place is so scattered.

Relative to downtown, suburbs are great, schools are better, houses are less, houses are bigger, crime is practically nill where I live. By the way, when many of the high crime levels in Atlanta are mentioned, I believe they are inflated since few people actually live in Atlanta. You see the number of crimes (which is connected to the large number of people who visit and commute in) divided by the small number of people who actually live here...

Resturants are great in the city, world class in fact. Entertainment is easy to find. These last two comments represent the only reasons that my family and I go into the city.

Lilburn,GA - nice, boring white suburb - 1/11/2008
Lilburn is close commute to Duluth where tech jobs are located.
Crime is very low. Its a very white town. No buses to atlanta.
Housing is cheap. There are no sidewalks as most of Atlanta.
Feel like a peice of veal, can't go for a walk anywhere.
People are friendly. Little to do. A boring place.Read More
