Downtown Newnan a Great Place to Live - 4/28/2008
I grew up in large and small cities overseas as a government 'brat' and also spent more than 10 years on the West Coast in Portland, OR. The downtown area is very livable and walkable with beautiful historic houses walking distance to the town square with nice shops, restaurants, and parks. The town is known for it's many resturants, and the home of country singer Alan Jackson. There are many golf courses, and new sub divisions going in. The town has done a good job of retaining the 'rural' qualities it has, while allowing growth to Read More
