The crime stats for North Chicago show that crime reporting is a total sham. Surrounding areas like Waukegan are actually wonderful and safe compared to North Chicago. The only negative is the awful winter weather. I walked most of my childhood backward due to the wind. You are near Wisconsin to go snow skiing. When you go to elementary and high school you feel more like the inner city. Very diversified. Nettelhorst (still there) elementary school is still standing and is the best Read More
