They have built up a strong sense of community over time, making Leeds an ideal place to visit and spend time in. The town also has several restaurants offering local cuisine as well as popular chain restaurants like Subway and Burger King. Shopping is also available in the area with stores such as Wal-Mart and Dollar General located close by. As far as reviews go, many people visiting Leeds have had nothing but good things to say about their experience in this small rural town. Leeds Maine: Is conveniently located approximately 30 minutes from larger cities such as Augusta and Lewiston-Auburn.
There is a great lake (Androscoggin Lake) which is only minutes from any home in Leeds.
There is a Great Community spirit and very friendly folks in Leeds.
4-Wheeling, Cross-Country Skiing, Boating, Kayaking, Hunting and Snowmobiling are just a few of the outdoor activities easily enjoyed in Leeds.
