Living in Southern Maine - 6/8/2013
The Greater Portland area has a very livable climate in the summer, some of spring & fall, but winters are usually a bear. There's lots of outdoor things to do nearby and skiing is not too far away. The scenery is lovely and there are tons of great restaurants and art galleries. Unfortunately, taxes are high, education is not great, and the state has no reserves.
