Transportation in the Towson area - 8/27/2013
Because Towson university is right here, and we're not too far from downtown Baltimore, there are many bus lines running in the area. The problem though is they rarely run to schedule and are often late, so if you count on them being on time, DONT, lol. Also many of the buses dont service all the surrounding urban and suburban communities, the lines just end.
Besides the bus, there is also the light rail, the above ground railroad, and a subway system, which I'm not as familiar with.

My wife and I have lived in Towson for seven and a half years. It has many of the things we want in a community but it is not our dream place to live. We would like a more bike and walking freindly community which is not the case with a lot of this area. There is a small downtown area with restaurants and shops but it is not a thriving area.
