Super Community, Low Cost of Living, Peaceful Livi - 10/19/2009
Background: The city of Albany.........this is the area of the United States that meets all of my qualifications for an ideal retirement home. I have lived and traveled all over the United States from Iowa, Alabama, Mississippi, New York City Area, and Los Angeles ( I relocate with my job and have spent 2 to 18 years at each location). My sister and brother along with many nieces and nephews live within 7 miles of Albany and I visit them at least three times a year and have for the last 15 years. My biggest issue with Albany, Missouri is that there is absolutely no culture at all.

There are no museums, no plays, no theater at all, no concerts ( unless you count country music at the town festival once a year - and no, I'm not making that up ), they don't even have classes in anything. No pottery, no formal music, and Read More
