I've lived in St. Louis for roughly ten years and I grew up in the surrounding area. I do not recommend St. Louis to live for two reasons: crime and the weather. A lot of crime especially St. Louis metro and north county St. Louis (Think Ferguson). The city is ran poorly by the local government. The summers are unbearably hot and humid - the kind that zaps your energy. The winters are cold and dreary. It's terrible for those with allergies. Most people were from other cities who were transferred there and they were very Read More

Chesterfield is a suburb of St.Louis. Commonly referred to as West County Area. It is an upscaled section of St. Louis that has not been affected by the inter city crime. Property values have continued to grow with the economy. It is a great place to purchase your home if you want to see equity grow. Downside, properties are probably overpriced a little but there is very little risk to your Read More
