Not my cup of tea - 6/16/2022
I’ve lived here since October 2021, and I can’t wait to leave. This place is beyond boring. There aren’t many stores, and the mall they have is a run-down ghost town. Besides Target and Walmart, most of the stores are run down. This may be a good place for people who like quiet, small town living. I’m the type of person who likes having at least a few things to do, other than outdoor sports and parks. They have nothing here. Someone who likes winter sports and summer boating might like it here. We are very close to Lake George, which has Six Flags Great Escape amusement park, but it’s small and gets old fast. We get a decent amount of snow here and it gets cold. It’s mostly a white population up here, I’ve probably only seen a handful of other races here. There aren’t many good options for food either. All in all, totally boring town. But some may like that, so Queensbury could be for you. Read More

Don't take it for granted. I was born(1980) and raised in Queensbury til 1998. I thought that the Glens Falls area sucked until I moved to Manchester NH. At first it seemed great because it was a different and much larger city compared to where I was from, so it was somewhat exciting being just 17 yrs old I had just finished high school. I got married had 2 kids now 12 and 18 and had a decent life here but I always wanted to move back home and raise my kids there. It wasn't that I was homesick as it's only a 3.5 hr drive im able to visit sometimes up to 10 times a year, but Queensbury/GF is a much smaller, quieter, cleaner, and definitely much safer than the city of Manchester. And really Manchester is considered safe for a small city was once a very desirable place to live but still, it's a completely different lifestyle. I realize drugs are in every town and city in America but anyone in the state of NH will tell u that Manchester has a horrible drug problem (mostly fentanyl and Read More
