I recently moved to Cary, NC from Miami, FL. however I was living in Phoenix, AZ. before moving to Miami, FL. I loved Phoenix and had the employment situation been better there I would have stayed. I didn't like Miami at all and quit my job there. I accepted a position here in Cary, NC. in Dec. and so fat I really do like it a lot. The weather has been very good considering it is winter and isn't all that cold. The overall cost of living here is pretty good, you can get a lot of home for your money. The countryside is just beautiful, it's pretty close to the Outerbanks so weekends at the beach are easy to do. However, it will be a major change for anyone coming from AZ. So my suggestion is that you make your decision based on what's important to you. If it's a career move then I'd say go for it. If it's to be close to some major colleges, this is the place as Duke, Wake Forest, and UNC are all very close by. Good luck in whatever you decide to
