User Review 1: "I have been living in Fargo for 5 years now and I absolutely love it. The job market is booming and there are so many opportunities for growth. The cost of living is also very affordable, which is a huge plus. I also appreciate the community events and the strong sense of community here." - Emily G.

User Review 2: "Fargo is a decent place to live, but the winters are brutal. I'm from a warmer climate and it was a huge adjustment for me. The city is also not very diverse, which can make it feel isolating at times. However, the cost of living is low and there are some great restaurants and parks to enjoy." - John D.

User Review 3: "I've lived in Fargo my whole life and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The people here are friendly and welcoming, and there's always something to do. The winters can be tough, but it's worth it for the strong sense of community and affordable cost of living." - Sarah W.

User Review 4: "I moved to Fargo for a job opportunity and while I appreciate the career growth, I can't say I love living here. The winters are unbearable and there's not much to do compared to bigger cities. Plus, the lack of diversity can be disheartening at times. I'm planning on moving to a warmer and more diverse city in the near future." - Michael K.

Great place - 6/11/2007
Overall, Fargo is a very nice place, but the downtown and Island Park are my favorite parts of the city. For its size, Fargo's downtown has a lot to offer and there are more things opening all of the time. The newer sections of the city around West Acres are not very appealing, but as someone who loves old neighborhoods, I'm a bit biased. The newer sections are really not any worse or better than any other suburban area. The more established areas of the city are quite charming, quiet and very family Read More

"culture" - 3/16/2007
in addition to all the economic reasons that make Fargo a phenomenal place to live, there's been a recent revitalization of the downtown area which has included the addition of art galleries/museums, fine dining, a world class hotel, a fun night scene, and some greatshopping. (if only there was parking to keep up with the cars) i'm always blown away when i hear fargo residents say "there's nothing to do." i find so much to do in this community, i have a hard time choosing between the endless options. if you find a night in town when there's not a concert, a reading, a show, or some event happening here, i'd be Read More

Good & Bad in Fargo - 5/18/2006
Fargo is a great place to live in many respects, but the major drawbacks here are the weather, which is horrible. Also, flying in and out of Fargo is expensive & time consuming. If you are taking a vacation, expect to spend your whole first day just traveling to your destination. Same with the last day of your vacation, you will spend all day and most of the night flying or at an airport waiting for a flight Read More

Fargo is a great place to live! - 5/6/2006
Fargo is a great city to live in. Not only is the cost of living super cheap, it's an all-around great community! Don't let the stigma of North Dakota fool you...it's not winter all year here, and we have all of the modern amenities of any other city. I have talked to people who actually thought Native Americans still live in tee-pees here!!!! Fargo is a great place to raise a family also...great schools, very low crime rate, and lots of activites for all ages. I highly suggest Fargo as a place to make your Read More
