No jobs to be found here - 8/30/2008
I'm an IT professional with 25 years experience. I have sent out approximately 30 resumes every month for 3-4 months and have had only one company even bother to reply with a "No, thanks." My husband is a district manager and can't possibly find time to interview all the job inquiries he's receiving. The economy is bad elsewhere but it's rock bottom here. Our only hope is

Not so bad - 7/14/2008
Ok I was raised in Cleveland well actually just 25min south in Hinckley Ohio but I went to church every Sunday on Public Square (Old Stone First Presbytarian Church) I have lived ther for well over 20 years. Since leaving the military I have moved and lived in The Woodlands Texas for 5 years Sparks Nevada for 2 years and I currently reside in Orange Park Florida. Cleveland is a great place to live near I do not know what it's like to live downtown but I know its a nicer downtown area than so many other larger metro area's. The museaums (Natural History,Art,Science Center,Crawford.) They have something for anyone, the zoo, rain forest and nearby Rock and Roll hall of Fame,Football Hall of Fame, Progressive Field,Browns Stadium,Quiken Loans stadium, and How wcan we forget just take a 40minute drive West Northwest to Cedar Point Rollercoaster capital of the world! And if you like sports fishing or water sports enjoy 9940 square miles of Lake Erie!!

The city is full of them. If you enjoy a city that is consistently ranked as the poorest city in the U.S. A city that has a filthy downtown, terrible weather poor schools, high foreclosure rates, high crime, dismal infrastructure, a lake with few beaches open to the public and liberal democrat politicians that are clueless yet content in status quo. Cleveland would be for you. Cleveland is a city that used to be. The future is not getting better here. Democrat all the way to bankruptcy and proud of it. Welcome to Cleveland

CLEVELAND SUCKS!!!
I've been forced to live her my entire life but now since i am iin my last year of high school, i can't wait to get the heck outta here. There is nothing to do here. All the malls are losing stores because no one is shopping in them so there really isn't any where to shop. The schools suck. I'm African American and sometimes in school i am embarrassed to call myslef that!! Some people in my class are still trying to read!! How insane is that? All it does here is throw down snow storms and rain and an occasional sunny day. Don't move here unless you have no other
