Wooster, OH is a charming small city located in northeast Ohio. It is known for its quaint downtown area, which features many unique shops and restaurants. Visitors to the city are also able to walk around the nearby college campus, The College of Wooster. In addition to these activities, there are also plenty of outdoor recreation opportunities such as golf courses and other parks in the area.

where to begin? wooster is mostly a white community, with a near perfect split of liberals and conservatives. there is a huge gap between the few rich (ceos and college of wooster professors) and the poor (nearly everyone else). full time jobs are nearly non existent. two grocery stores (if you can call walmart a grocery store) hold a monopoly on prices. dont even get me started on the sole cable company for the area. there is no public transportation. there is nothing for teenagers to do. the town is on a crossroads of major highways in ohio, and is used as a drug trade route. dont raise your daughters here. the rape rate in wooster is more than 3 times the national average, while the number of rape prosecutions are very low. rapists arent prosecuted unless some other crime was also committed at the time. the poverty level is high in the downtown and short north areas. if you live there your k-4 will be educated in the over-crowded old high school building, where 75% of the students Read More

Wooster is a nice town with lots of art and family stuff for a town it's size but it is just a little too far from anything. 45 minutes to Canton or Cleveland/Akron depending on what part of the city you live in.
