Lovely Place to Live - 1/17/2020
We’ve lived in the city for 1 1/2 years now, and we love it. We live in the Riverside Estate near the river and Cheadle lake, and the scenery is beautiful! Yes, the winters are wet, but not much snow! Summers are very nice and worth waiting for!
We have a Super Walmart, Safeway, Bi-Mart, Wilco, Papa Murphy’s pizza, OBC, 3 credit unions and several banks, the Samaritan Hospital with many clinics, and numerous other places to eat and shop, plus our downtown section! Lebanon is a small city nestled into the foothills of the Cascade mountains. Most of our winter you can expect overcast skys and a drizzly misty days with very little wind or extremes in the weather. A brisk wind is rare but does happen once in a while. People almost go into a panic if we get a forty mile an hour wind. The temperature usually stays in the forty's or fifty's.
