Ah, Humboldt. Strawberries and wide spots. - 4/8/2024
Humboldt is a place lots of people pass through but fewer people stop. But there are some local reasons, such as a Walmart and Autozone, as well as a few gas stations, but mostly it's just a wide spot in the road for most folks. But it is a lot wider than Trenton which is about ten miles north.Mostly it is due to the bypass which manages to take you around the town without getting close to it.Every year there is a Strawberry Festival at Humboldt, which is strange because most of the strawberries are grown at Milan.
