Drug Related Crime - 4/4/2012
The sad truth is that drugs influence crime; Mineral Wells has its reputation for being a drug infested community. The wrap is not all that bad, but any crime is a turn off for people looking forward to finding a desirable location to live with a family, to retire, or live alone.

The Palo Pinto County Hospital is on the west side of town not far from any emergency; CareFlight is there for medical emergencies that require special care. Weatherford College has a campus here. A short drive will take you to nearby lakes for fishing and boating. There is a small rural country club with a golf course, Possum Kingdom Resort offers the celebrated Cliff's golf course just 23 miles away; Sugar Tree on the Brazos River is not far from Mineral Wells as well as Canyon West ( both located in Parker County). In less than an hour you can drive to Fort Worth for more entertainment, healthcare, shopping, and Read More
