Prairie View, TX is a small town located in Waller County northwest of Houston. It's home to Prairie View A&M University and has a population of around 5,700 people. As such, there are a variety of activities and attractions for residents and visitors alike. For example, the town hosts events throughout the year like its Fourth of July celebration, the Texas Crawfish Festival and others. There are also plenty of outdoor activities available in Prairie View including a variety of hiking trails, fishing spots and picnic areas for visitors to enjoy.

It is not like other Texas cities - 6/27/2020
I lived in this city for five years and was shocked. They love to say "they represent black Americans" but they represent stupidity. The leaders hate to serve their citizens. Higher property tax, higher utility cost, and fines. Almost no police force, trash collection is very limited, permitting is in word only, and the city is run to serve the needs of the local government.
