Truthfully Riesel, Tx isn’t such a bad place, I live there and it is a very connected community with parades, events, small fairs but the thing that ruins it a little is politics. This is the type of city where if you own a piece of property that one of the City Officials wants to have, and they know your are elderly, vulnerable and too poor to defend yourself, they will trump up a phony charge on you, conveniently 'forget' to send it to you, then drag you in into jail/court on a phony warrant. They will harass you and threaten you until you are forced to sell your property to them for a ridiculously low price. The cops the mayor and the council members in this town are
