Bennington, come here for drugs! - 12/2/2019
Bennington is a great place for scenery.
However, the cops are a huge part of the drug network. They protect the drug dealers and criminals instead of regular citizens who are doing no harm.
This town is terrible place to visit/live due to the drug problem, corrupt cops and all of the horrible drug addicted parents who neglect their children.

Beautiful rural areas, bad inner city vibes - 8/4/2017
Bennington Vermont is absolutely gorgeous on its outskirts, old Bennington is absolutely beautiful with lots of historical sites as well as North Bennington not being half bad but once you get into town it's nothing but trouble. It has a very high heroin rate and way too many druggie type people only causing trouble. The police departments do their very best but they're under staffed and I feel for them. The sheriffs department and state police are the most polite in the country other than North Carolina. I definitely don't think it's a good place to raise a family and only recommend it for a visit if you're visiting the battlefield, monument, playing a round at mount Anthony country club or checking out Hemings motors other than that there's nothing here except a high crime rate and nothing else to do.
