Freeland is on the south end of Whidbey Island, in Puget Sound just morth of Seattle. We retired here a couple of years ago after close to 30 years in Atlanta, GA. Whidbey is a beautiful place with a relaxed pace. It's an island, but large enough to have the shopping, services, dining, entertainment choices and so on that we had become used to living in a city.
