A town that has everything! - 8/10/2018
Orting has everything. I've lived outside the town for over 13 years and one of my favorite things to do is visit the quaint valley town. The residence are kind, neighborly and take great pride in their little valley oasis. My family loves biking on the Orting Trail, stopping for a picnic at their amazing city park, and The Carbon River is beautiful and peaceful. Downtown has all the amenities, food , shopping, gifts and more. Majestic Mount Rainier views everywhere you go. Orting is a small town near the base of Mt. Rainier. The weather is pretty nice during the summer and fall. Do have many days during the winter that can be overcast all day. We don't have severe winters and snow is really not an issue. It comes and then goes. It can cause driving issues for the near term until it melts. But we have had winters with no snow at all.
