having lived all over the country since 1992, i moved to hurricane from the northern va. D.C. area to get away from the rat race. this town is exaclty what i was looking for, no traffic, no crime and no crowds. my only complaint is the lack of culture. with this being west virginia, you need to get used to biscuits and gravy, steak and potatoes, and hamburgers. dont get me wrong, i love all those things, but i do miss having the option to eat different types of food once in a while. you wont find any indian, russian, italian, afghan, south american or even tex mex around here. its tudors biscuit world and cracker barrell, not much else.
