I have an active Vizsla, and I am accustomed to walking her off leash. The description of your area sound good. I am from ME and I am spoiled by daily views of wildlife. I realize that Alexandria is a more urban area, and the off leash may be impossible .. However, while dog parks are fine, I need my excercise, too. So, would you be willing to provide the name of your neighborhood? Any suggestions for other good neighborhoods where one does not have to drive 20 minutes to find a decent walk path of about 2 to 3 miles? Thank you. Joanne
