All three of the cities have "bloomed" in the last 5 years - having been the fastest growing areas in TX. With growth like this, come excitement, all new everywhere, congestion etc. The Tri Cities are almost indistinguishable as to where they begin and end. All have fostered great family values, spiritual development and environment. There are no "ghettos"- everything is too new. Housing is quite affordable. Schools are busting out of their walls with new ones being built every year. Many people commute to Dallas (proper).

Allen, Tx has changed the last 7 years I have been here, it used to be real quiet and property taxes were decent.. However; In the last few years there have been lots of foreclosures, they have built many more apartment complexes and the demographics have changed… It is on the downhill slide of things… Car has been broken into, sirens go off more than they used to! Cops have also blocked off the steet twice and once they where hiding in the bushes with guns drawn. I called the police department asked them what was going on they said dont worry about it, it was taken care of.. Most of the older house were built but in my area by shady contractors and have drainage, plumbing, framing, electrical , roofing and foundation problems…
