Ginny, firstly your analyses of Antioch's condition and potential are comprehensive and intelligent. I salute you. I'm a believer of not judging the book by its cover. In this case, some folks are portraying Antioch as a less desirable place because of what they hear in the news and media about Section 8ers, crime, traffic, etc. The truth is Antioch is a pleasant suburb to reside in. The City's potential is so immense that if people do not take advantage of the low home prices now, they will miss out on a real estate boom when highway 4 expansion and e-bart construction are completed. The City will be able to attrack big businesses such as Amazon, Google, Oracle, etc. as Antioch still has plenty of open space and ample human resources. In the mean time, let's band together and create schools that can compete in the 21st century. Antioch will be next San Ramon and Dublin. Just watch.
